In the southern Egyptian version of El-Limby, Katkout, a man with a lower IQ, is spared from being killed by another family in Upper Egypt for unclear reasons. He is later rescued by police and taken to Cairo to prepare for a mission involving national security. Katkout's uncanny resemblance to a terrorist named Youssef Khoury, who was being hunted by the police, makes him the perfect candidate for the assignment. The mission is to stop a terrorist organization, of unknown nationality, from bombing Egypt's subway system.
