In a small town outside of Austin, a free-spirited 10-year-old girl named Annie spends her days causing chaos on her BMX bike, throwing dough at cars, and smashing things with her baseball bat. Her father, a goat farmer and demolition derby driver, is absent and neglectful, leaving Annie to fend for herself and create her own fun. With no friends her age, Annie's days are filled with solitary adventures in the woods, until she stumbles upon an abandoned well where a woman's cries for help echo through the silence.
