Ted King, aided by Jack Janiero, manages a company inherited from his father, which extracts shells and pearls from the ocean floor. When a body is discovered, a police investigation into alien smuggling begins, and King is asked for help. Meanwhile, Peter Merriman, the company's owner and a playboy, falls for King's daughter "Rusty" and uses modern equipment to streamline the operation and save lives. When the smugglers take "Rusty" hostage, King, Jack, and Merriman rescue her and capture the culprits using aqua-lungs before the police arrive.
