Legend of the Lost

In the heart of Timbuktu, Paul Bonnard sets out on a perilous journey across the Sahara desert, seeking a guide to lead him to a fabled lost city. Joe January, an American, reluctantly agrees to join Bonnard on his quest, despite growing unease about the true intentions behind their expedition. As they venture deeper into the desert, they are accompanied by Dita, a prostitute who is drawn to Bonnard's spiritual aura. But when they finally reach the ancient city, Bonnard's discovery sets off a chain of events that transforms him in ways he could never have imagined, ultimately leading to a devastating outcome.
