Lone Star Deception

A Texas gubernatorial candidate's campaign is put in jeopardy when a scandalous affair with a prostitute comes to light. In an effort to salvage the situation, a key supporter introduces a new candidate, Tim Bayh, who becomes the first African American to run for Governor in Texas' history. As Tim navigates the treacherous world of politics, he faces numerous challenges, including assassination attempts and personal demons, and must decide whether to drop out of the race, seize the opportunity, or risk everything to reach the statehouse.
