Massacre River background

Massacre River

A longstanding feud between two cavalry officers intensifies as they vie for the affection of the colonel's daughter in a remote outpost beset by escalating Native American tensions.

Chief Yellowstone and Colonel James Reid negotiate a treaty setting a boundary between Indian and white settler lands, with the Wachupi River serving as the dividing line. However, Chief Yellowstone warns that some of his braves may be hard to control and could attack wagon trains. Meanwhile, Colonel Reid's son, Junior Lieutenant Randy Reid, and his friends, Lieutenants Phil Acton and Larry Knight, compete for the affections of Kitty Reid, Colonel Reid's daughter.
