'Master Harold'... and the Boys

A drama of complex emotions unfolds as Harold's estranged father, confined to a wheelchair and struggling with addiction, returns, triggering a chain reaction of pent-up emotions that culminate in racial tensions towards the African American employees who work for the family.

In a stylish tearoom, a young boy named Hally, son of a wealthy white couple, enters and witnesses the two Black employees rehearsing for a ballroom competition. The exchange playful jabs, but tensions escalate when Hally's anger over his father's news boils over, ultimately leading to a devastating racial confrontation.
