A teenager, Lyle, returns home after a missing persons case and is sent to a therapeutic boarding school called Lynnwood Cove. He forms a bond with a dorm staff member, but runs away from school and is eventually placed on one-to-one supervision. Despite making progress, Lyle gets sedated and has a disturbing dream. He is then restricted from leaving campus for three months. During a walk with his dorm staff, Lyle discovers that they are a younger version of himself, and he flees the cafe. He visits a beach, runs along the shore, and comes across his own luggage, leading to a emotional moment.
