In this thriller, a family's pursuit of a more affluent lifestyle in Beverly Hills takes a shocking turn as they become embroiled in the city's notorious 12-hour crime spree, known as the Purge.

The Black family flees Chicago's tough streets for a brighter future, thanks to Carl's unexpected windfall. He, his new wife Lorena, son Carl Jr., daughter Allie, and cousin Cronut relocate to Beverly Hills, but their new life is short-lived as they arrive just in time for the city's annual 12-hour crime spree, the Purge.
