Magazine photographer Ann Larkin is on the trail of the notorious art thief "The Wildcat" when she mistakenly accuses detective Brod Williams of being the culprit. Despite his protests of innocence, Brod is arrested and later breaks out of jail, revealing his true identity as a police detective. As Brod works to clear his name and catch the real Wildcat, he enlists the help of Ann, who eventually learns of his true identity and helps him uncover the truth.
