A woman is on trial for murdering her husband, claiming it was an accident. Despite her claims, the jury convicts her and sentences her to death. As her execution approaches, her daughter begins a relationship with a charming man, but he ultimately leaves her. Just before the execution, the daughter shoots the man with his own gun, and her father must decide between his principles and his daughter.
