A 15-year-old circus ringmaster, Wei-wei, is left with a massive debt after her grandfather's death in the Great Sichuan Earthquake. She turns to a 45-year-old "baseball playing gorilla" named Ling-ling, who becomes a professional baseball player in the Korean Baseball League after being scouted by a sports agent. Despite initial skepticism, Ling-ling, now known as "Mr. Go," becomes a star player, hitting consecutive home runs and bringing victories to his team. However, his success is short-lived as he suffers a worsening knee injury, causing him to falter on the field.
