A high-powered consultant's luxurious Miami lifestyle is disrupted when she's sent to New Ulm, Minnesota to restructure a blue-collar manufacturing plant. Initially, she faces a chilly welcome from the locals, treacherous roads, and freezing temperatures. However, she eventually warms up to the town's charm and is accepted by the community. When she's instructed to shut down the plant, putting the entire town out of work, she reevaluates her goals and finds a way to save the town.
