In 2022, a military officer named Robbins is sent to a maximum-security prison after killing his superior. He clashes with the sadistic warden upon arrival and is eventually transferred to the island of Absolom. There, he encounters the ruthless leader Walter Marek and his gang, the Outsiders, who offer him a position. However, Robbins refuses and must flee when they turn hostile. He is rescued by a group led by The Father and befriends a young girl named Casey. As the warden encourages gang warfare, Robbins uses his military expertise to aid his new group in their fight for survival, with the ultimate goal of escaping the island.
