In the early 1900s, a young boy named Nugget runs away to a booming Oklahoma town in search of his brother, who works at a luxurious casino and is in a romantic relationship with the madam, Tacey Cromwell. The trio sets out for a new life in a Colorado mining town, where Clint finds employment at the local bank and Tacey takes in another orphan, Seely.
