The story of Painted Woman follows Julie Richards, a woman passed from hand to hand in a web of abuse and prostitution, who lands at the feet of Kyle Allison, a wealthy power broker in the old west town of Goldfield. Julie is given two chances of escape with two very different men, and the story is told through two distinct chapters in her life.
