Jae-Hyeok, a nuclear power plant worker, lives with his family in a small Korean town. He's in a relationship with Yeon-Joo and is concerned about the plant's conditions, which his colleague Pyung-Sub has been warning about in vain. When an earthquake hits, the plant experiences explosions and the situation quickly becomes catastrophic. As the nation panics, Jae-Hyeok and his coworkers must return to the plant to prevent another disaster.
