Two Iraq war veterans, struggling with PTSD, are portrayed in the movie. One experiences a downward spiral, haunted by nightmares, flashbacks, and insomnia, while the government fails to provide adequate support. The other, however, remains convinced he is still fighting the war, believing it's his duty to torture and kill those perceived as anti-American.
