Remember the Night

The movie tells the story of Lee Leander, a young woman caught shoplifting just before Christmas, her third offense. As she faces prosecution by John Sargent, he delays the trial due to the difficulty of securing a conviction during the holiday season. Despite this, John's compassion for Lee leads him to post her bail and invite her to spend Christmas with his family. As they bond in a loving and warm environment, they begin to fall in love. However, their budding relationship creates a new challenge: how to navigate the upcoming trial and their feelings for each other.
