A young boy, Requiescant, is rescued from the desert by a priest and his family after being orphaned in a massacre by Confederate soldiers. He grows up with his foster family and becomes close to his foster sister, Princy. When Princy leaves to join a theater company, Requiescant vows to bring her back home, but his journey is complicated when he discovers that Princy has become a prostitute in a town controlled by his family's killer, Officer Ferguson.
