When Hollywood star Jackson Axelrod becomes the spokesperson for a new national park, he invites his old friends on a nostalgic camping trip to impress them. However, the trip quickly turns disastrous as an eccentric homeless man stows away in Jackson's car, and he clashes with his old flame Emma's police officer boyfriend. As tensions rise, the group discovers they've been led into a trap by a group of psychotic activists wearing creepy animal masks who hunt humans for sport. The group is soon split up, with some getting captured, others meeting new survivors, and all realizing they must put aside their differences to escape the masked hunters and survive the woods.
