In this comedy, two tone-deaf singers are mistaken for expert thieves in Providence, Rhode Island. They're recruited by local gangsters and soon find themselves at odds with their professional rivals. Complicating matters is the daughter of the underworld leader, who's smitten with the men but can't date them since she knows they're gangsters.
