A group of prospectors, led by Carson, strike it rich with a valuable gold discovery. However, the town's corrupt leader, Byron, is determined to get his hands on the treasure and orchestrates Carson's murder. He then frames Stony for the crime by manipulating the sheriff and the townspeople.
