As a police artist, Jack Whitfield is initially discouraged by the string of unending serial killings with no survivors. However, the discovery of an eyewitness survivor, blind victim Emmy O'Conner, brings new hope. Despite initial skepticism, Jack becomes convinced of Emmy's accuracy when she provides vivid details about the attacker. As they work together, Jack grows closer to Emmy and gains insight into the killer's identity. But the killer will stop at nothing to eliminate Emmy, the only one who can reveal his true identity, making Jack's task of capturing the killer seem impossible.
