In the midst of a Southern plantation's decline, a revue singer, con artist, and machinist unexpectedly inherit Magnolia Manor, a dilapidated estate with a daunting tax burden and a serious termite problem.

A group of eccentric Hart cousins, including a singer, a con artist, and a woman with a unique talent for receiving radio signals through her teeth, inherit a Southern plantation, only to find it's a financial burden. They team up with a soldier to transform it into a hotel for Army wives, but first, they must put on a show to pay the bills. However, romance and military complications ensue.
