In this movie, a Mexican police officer named Sergeant Carlos Olivarez is convinced that a North American man named Clark is involved in a land scam and that Consuela, a woman, is working with him. Carlos also believes Consuela is responsible for the seduction and betrayal of his brother, Juan, who ultimately takes his own life. As Carlos gets to know a young man named Ramon Ruiz and his family, he discovers that Ramon is supposed to marry Consuela, but Carlos is determined to stop her and her accomplices, including the ruthless Pedro, from deceiving Ramon's family.

After his brother's suicide, Carlos's life is turned upside down, and things take a dark turn when he discovers his friend Ramon is engaged to the one responsible for his brother's downfall.
