St. Ives

A Napoleonic war prisoner, a French Hussar, is tasked by a Scottish camp commander to educate the troops on efficient communication.

In 1813, a captured Hussar, Jacques St. Ives, is sent to a Scottish prison camp. He's asked by the commander to teach him how to charm women, as both men are interested in Flora, who lives with her aunt, Miss Gilcrist. Jacques decides to escape, find his relatives and win Flora's hand, but faces opposition from the prison commander and an unexpected enemy.
