A white supremacist, fresh out of prison, and his girlfriend brutally murder a police officer and take an African American family hostage. As the supremacist leader, Sobecki, learns of the botched heist, he's furious. The family's patriarch, an ex-con himself, must use his wits and understanding of racism to devise a plan to rescue his family, confronting his own prejudices and anger along the way.
