Mike Kincaid, a French Foreign Legion sergeant, discovers a plot by the villainous Hussin to attack their outpost at Tarfa. He volunteers to lead a team of nine Legionnaires to delay the attack until reinforcements arrive. Along the way, Kincaid kidnaps Mahla, a girl from a rival tribe, who is set to marry Hussin to build a coalition against the French.
