A meticulously planned heist begins to fall apart as a series of unfortunate events, unexpected betrayals, and a relentless police chase converge to foil the criminals' plans and bring them to justice.

Intelligent criminal Erwin "Doc" Riedenschneider is released from prison and seeks a large investment to recruit a team of specialists for a high-stakes jewel heist. He finds a lawyer willing to finance the operation and buys the stolen gems immediately after the burglary. The plan unfolds smoothly, but bad luck and betrayal compromise the gang's escape, and they must flee from the police.
