A meteor crashes into Crater Lake, Oregon, sparking a chain reaction that brings a dinosaur back to life. The creature, now a massive predator, begins to wreak havoc on the local ecosystem, hunting cattle and humans to satiate its hunger. As the body count rises, Sheriff Steve Hanson is tasked with solving the mystery behind the sudden disappearances of tourists and a criminal.
