The story follows individuals who, believing they are cursed to roam the earth until their eternal lives are freed, wander and flee along the borders of Nagorno-Karabakh, an Armenian enclave in Azerbaijan.

Cursed with the weight of eternal life, the Eternals are forever bound to roam the earth, tormented by the knowledge that they can never truly die and are resigned to an endless wait for the day they may be released from their immortal fate.
