The Fast Lady

Murdoch Troon, a Scottish civil servant, is determined to win over Charles Chingford's daughter Claire, but his lack of driving skills and naivety often lead to conflicts with Chingford. With the help of his acquaintance Freddie Fox, a charming used car salesman, Murdoch learns to drive and woo Claire, but his rivalry with Chingford escalates into a series of bets, culminating in a challenge to pass the driver's exam on his first attempt.
