The Olympic Games held in Stockholm 1912 were reconstructed using surviving film materials from Svensk-Amerikanska Filmkompaniet. Historical records were analyzed to create a chronological sequence of images, which were then edited into a new record of events. Intertitles with newly written text were added to provide context, and a musical accompaniment by Donald Sosin was added to the Criterion Blu-Ray edition.
