At Terrell Christian College, the Golden Voices Competition is just around the corner, but the school's music department is in disarray, lacking a choir. With her job on the line, the Assistant Dean compels Georgia, the music department head, to assemble a group in just a few weeks. Despite the odds, Georgia's granddaughter Sidney steps in to help, bringing in a former R&B singer with a troubled past, Jax, to lead the choir. As the competition looms closer, the Dean discovers Jax's shady history and threatens to fire Georgia once more unless they can win the coveted title.
