Three British passengers, including Major Crespin, his wife Lucille, and Dr. Trahern, crash land in the kingdom of Rukh, where they're held captive by the Rajah. The British are about to execute the Rajah's three half-brothers in India, and the locals believe the Green Goddess has granted them the Brits' lives in exchange.
