The Island Fling

On Bluto's island, Popeye and Olive embark on a romantic escape, as Bluto tries to impress Olive with sentimental gifts and a lavish dinner, revealing a softer side.

Popeye and Olive approach Bluto's island on a raft, where Bluto tries to woo Olive with a romantic feast and etchings. However, Olive is more interested in the food, and Popeye keeps getting in the way. Bluto tries to distract Popeye with various tasks, including hunting and digging for treasure, but Popeye consistently outsmarts him. Eventually, Bluto tries to get rid of Popeye by trapping him in a chest and tossing it into an alligator pit.
