A young boy, Cyril, is sent to a foster institution after his father abandons him and his mother is absent. Desperate to be reunited with his father and retrieve his beloved bike, Cyril sets out on a journey to find him. Along the way, he meets Samantha, a kind-hearted hairdresser who takes him in on weekends, but Cyril's troubled past and association with a young troublemaker threaten to drive Samantha away.
