As he tends to his unusual plant, a young man is confronted with his own darker nature, as the plant's peculiar need for human flesh forces him to confront the depths of his own psyche.
Seymour Krelborn, a clumsy florist, creates a hybrid plant, Audrey Jr., and brings it to his boss's flower shop. As the plant grows, it becomes a sensation, but Seymour struggles to feed it, leading to a series of dark and unexpected events.
