In the Troll Kingdom, a small prince named Bu is a constant cause of worry to the king and queen because he's too kind and well-behaved. The king decides to send Bu to Sinister School to learn about the trolls' moral system, but Bu's answers only upset his two brothers. They concoct a plan to lure Bu to the human world, claiming the humans are planning to attack the Troll Kingdom. Bu and the trolls head down the mountain, where they mistake humans' gingerbread men for cooked trolls and quickly return to the mountain. However, Bu is soon caught and left for dead, but is found by two human girls who mistake him for a gnome.
