A rowdy motorcycle gang's impromptu stop in a serene southern town sets off a chain of chaotic events as they make their way to the renowned Daytona races.
In the rural American south of 1959/1960, six bikers converge on a desolate town along Hwy. 17 to ride to Daytona together. Their stop is extended when one of them needs motorcycle repairs, frustrating the others with the town's dullness.
