The Mark

The story revolves around Jim Fuller, a 36-year-old man who has just been released from prison after serving a three-year sentence for intent to commit child molestation. Despite his past, he is aided by a prison psychiatrist in securing a job and eventually finds love with the secretary of his company's owner. However, when a child is molested and beaten in his new town, Jim becomes a suspect and is questioned by the police. Although he has an alibi, a journalist who covered his previous trial recognizes him and begins to follow him, raising suspicions about his interactions with his girlfriend's daughter.
