The Midwife

A midwife, Claire, is dedicated to her patients at a maternity hospital, but her life is not without challenges. Her hospital is closing, and she refuses to work at the new modern facility she considers a "baby factory". Her personal life is also struggling, as she's single and has trouble making friends. Her son is growing up and leaving home, and her father's former mistress, Béatrice, suddenly reappears, revealing she has brain cancer and no one else to turn to. Claire must navigate her feelings of rejection and duty to help Béatrice.
