Ruthless corporate president Henry Baxter plots to take over Eastern Devices by secretly buying its stock through a Swiss bank. He must convince two board members to vote in his favor, and arranges a weekend party to persuade them. Unbeknownst to Baxter, his brother-in-law John Lawson is secretly working with the company's chairman, Benjamin Thayer, and the women at the party are corporate spies. Baxter also needs his wife's signature on important documents, but after getting what he wants, he demands a divorce. His wife refuses and hires a private detective to gather evidence against him.
