A lone cowboy, Tex, faces off against a group of mysterious outlaws, and after taking down one of them, he cleverly uses the outlaw's hood to disguise himself and infiltrate the gang. However, his ruse is almost exposed, and he barely escapes with his life. To make matters worse, he's then mistakenly apprehended by the Sheriff, who believes Tex is one of the very outlaws he's trying to take down.
