In the sweltering summer, a group of carefree party-goers live life to the fullest, but for Tina, the fun is short-lived. After a wild night, she's plagued by terrifying nightmares featuring a grotesque creature. Seeking guidance, Tina confides in her psychologist, who advises her to confront her fears and connect with the creature. At first, she resists, but when her parents threaten to institutionalize her, she begins talking to the creature. As she gets to know it, Tina realizes the creature embodies her deepest fears and emotions. Despite initial reservations, she grows closer to it, feeling an unusual sense of freedom and acceptance. However, when her friends and family discover the creature, everything changes.
