Tim, a survivor of an assassination attempt, rides into town only to discover he's mistakenly believed to be the new Marshal. As he thwarts subsequent assassination attempts, he's falsely accused of robbery and faces a hanging. The real Marshal helps Tim escape, and together they devise a plan to catch the mysterious gang leader.
