A college football coach faces the threat of being fired if his team doesn't improve, so he recruits a talented tailback. To help him adjust to college life, a female student is assigned to assist him, and he finds himself drawn to her, despite her being in a relationship with another player on the team. Meanwhile, the quarterback struggles with his distant father and turns to drinking, while a defensive player uses steroids, despite passing drug tests.

The Program
