The Slaughter Rule

In the small town of Blue Springs, Montana, high school student Roy Chutney struggles to find his place after his father's death and being cut from the football team. He finds a new sense of purpose with Gideon Ferguson, a local newspaper seller who starts a six-man back field league. Gideon becomes a father figure to Roy, but their relationship is put to the test when rumors spread that Gideon is gay and romantically interested in Roy. As Roy navigates his feelings for Gideon and his first sexual relationship with Skyla Sisco, he must figure out what to do with his newfound connections.
