Emma, an ultimate planner, is poised to reach the pinnacle of her five-year plan as her boss, Nancy, announces her retirement. Despite Nancy's guidance, Emma has always felt the older woman doesn't truly respect her. Emma has extended her plan to accommodate Nancy's delay and also inserted Paolo into her life, including his business plans. Paolo's family is expanding into the US market, opening a store in Chicago, where Matteo, his cousin, will help manage the store.
